You do not need to spend a fortune to put a rug under the lounge suite. These living-room rugs from NZ retailers stay in the $200–$300 band, with kids rugs and bath mats left out of the shortlist.
Lounge rugs under $300
Room rugs from about 120 × 160 cm, priced $200–$300 so the shortlist sits closer to the cap rather than the cheapest mats. Diversified across NZ retailers.
Larger lounge rugs under $300
Bigger footprints still under $300 - useful in open-plan spaces where a small rug disappears under the sofa.
Smaller accent rugs under $300
Compact lounge rugs for apartments and layered looks - still living-room oriented, just a smaller footprint.
Dimensions are sourced from retailers and may not include packaging or assembly tolerance. Always confirm on the retailer's site before buying. If a listing looks wrong, use Wrong dimensions? on that product - we re-check the retailer page and update when we can.
